Lizzo is the queen of self-love. Her confidence and attitude make her an inspirational figure to all the women and men out there.

May it be twerking on tik-tok, sashaying down the red carpet, or shutting down trolls Lizzo does it all with a smile.

She puts herself out there in the world as this undeniable thing that is autonomous to her, without following any movement or trend, she truly does herself.

And here are some of her pearls of wisdom, that can help you in your journey of self-love.

1. Accept that you are 100% that B**ch

Accepting who you are completely is a difficult task for most of us, there is always something about you that you don’t like may it be your chubby legs or your crooked smile.

In my case, it was my thin, frizzy hair, I used to be extremely self-conscious about it, and hand to god I have tried all the weird, messy, and disgusting mask. None of which seem to work.

But in the process, I realized that I will always have this hair no matter how many masks, serums, or hairstyles I try, this is what I got and this is what I have to work with.

So, start by accepting all your flaws and shortcomings then only you can work on improving yourself.

As soon as I showed the world all of me that’s when they started to fall in love with me -lizzo

2. Addressing all Your Insecurities

Accepting and loving yourself is a difficult job when you are bombarded by haters. These hater's life mission is to make you aware of every little flaw you have and they take their job pretty seriously.

All these comments and side-eyed looks affect you more deeply than you realize, the trauma doesn’t fade away. You will have to peel all these layers of insecurities and address them to make peace with yourself.

Take a deep look inside yourself, tackle these insecurities so that you can shine with the confidence that you were born with, that you always had in you.
